What the letters mean

This board only compares the opening evolve window. Housefly is higher because flight was demonstrated, not because a damage test was published. Garden Spider and Grasshopper are different offers from different sessions. Read your own evolve screen before you spend coins.

Which Bug Evolution [🕷️] boards are on this hub?

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.

Tierearly-survival4 ranked rows.

A tier

early-survivalHouseflyOctober 27 evolve screen offered Housefly beside Grasshopper. The printed cost was level 12 and 200 coins, and the form can fly. A separate stat card was seen at level 17, so do not treat level 12 as a permanent identity.

Player decision Pick it when your screen offers it and larger players keep catching you. Keep Run ready in case flight stalls.

B tier

early-survivalGarden SpiderTier 1. The level bar in one tutorial read Spiderling to Garden Spider at level 12, with no coin cost on that line. A players list later showed a Garden Spider at level 48.

Player decision Take it when the bar names it. Do not skip it to hunt for a Housefly button that your session is not showing.

early-survivalGrasshopperTier 2 ground option beside Housefly on the October 27 screen. A players list showed one at level 31. Locust is a later T3 NEXT tag, and a direct Grasshopper-to-Locust level is not confirmed.

Player decision Pick it if you want the ground option and the on-screen bars look better for how you hunt. There is no outside ranking against Housefly.

C tier

early-survivalSpiderlingThe start of every session. Some HUDs label it Spiderling and point at Garden Spider at level 12. Other walkthroughs just call it a tiny spider or spider before the Grasshopper or Housefly choice.

Player decision Leave it as soon as your bar lets you. Eat big food and finish the opening level goal first.

FAQ

Bug Evolution [🕷️] ranking questions

Why is Wolf Spider not ranked?

No. Wolf Spider and the hidden T5 and T6 nodes are left off because their stats are not on a shared scale. A 966 HP snapshot at level 53 does not make a letter grade.
